Bedbugs

Bed Bugs: Identification and Solutions

Habitat and Behavior

Bed bugs hide in cracks, mattresses, box springs, or furniture near beds during the day. Active at night, they detect their host through body heat and carbon dioxide. They feed on blood by biting, causing redness and itching.

Hazards and Damage

Although they do not transmit diseases, their bites can cause skin irritation and, in some cases, allergic reactions. Their presence can also cause stress, sleep disturbances, and social isolation.
